Nonprofit created after Holland swimmer’s suicide to host gala

Four years after a star swimmer from Holland died by suicide, the nonprofit created in his memory is hosting its second annual gala. Ian Miskelley was swimming for the University of Michigan when the disease he’d fought for years took his life. The Holland native had struggled with depression and anxiety since at least age 11, when he sought help from his parents.
