Michigan Honors Ian Miskelley With Annual Be Better Meet; Legacy Lives On

Michigan honored the late Ian Miskelley on Friday with the Be Better Invitational, an annual meet that promotes mental health awareness and supports the Be Better Foundation, a charitable organization established by the Miskelley family in Ian’s memory to support athletes and families dealing with mental health.

Miskelley was a Michigan high school state champion at Holland Christian High School before joining the Wolverines. He battled severe anxiety and depression. He died in 2020, taking his own life.
